About the project
In 2021, I worked on the UI design for e-commerce that specialized in selling gamer accessories. The request was to personalize a WordPress template for the client: finding the best typefaces and colors to bring this gamers’ website to life. The work was simple but restrictive because there were design guides to follow.
Two years later, I decided to design a website for gamers, trying to create a modern and fresh UI to upgrade the website I worked on two years ago. This design comprises a responsive website with high-quality desktop and mobile wireframes.
Revamping the Look: A New Approach
The starting point for this project was the previous designs I made in 2021. They were made following a WordPress template the client had previously chosen, and thought would be the best fit for their e-commerce.
Style Guide
The color palette was chosen to resemble other various e-commerces on the market: dark backgrounds with contrasting neon colors, as most gamers that dedicate to streaming use neon lights in their set. Also, I designed a new logotype based on a new game to be part of the new unique design style.
